Science is everywhere around us - from the moment we get up in the morning till the moment we nod off to sleep at night, science plays a huge part in our daily lives. Science is the knowledge of all — all the stuff that is in the universe: from the tiniest subatomic particles of the metal in our computers or mobile phone's circuits that we are using, to the nuclear reactions that formed the immense ball of gas that is our sun, to the complex chemical interactions and electrical fluctuations within our own body that is allowing us to read and understand these words. Isn't it an interesting wonder!
To delve further into this wonder and foment the interest of our students into this incredible wonder that is science, we at Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani launched this Science Blog on 5th September, 2020. The goal of this blog is to provide a platform to our students to display their interests and creativity about science and also to interact with each other and their teachers in a safe virtual space. Here they can share their works, experiments ideas and hypotheses. They will get their curiosity kindled about various aspects of Science as well as get answers for their curiosities and questions. The blog aims to build up lifelong scientific temperament and knowledge which will help students in their future in the school and beyond.
It gives me immense joy in introducing this accessible platform to all our Science students. Let us have fun understanding and applying how science works to our everyday life- from cooking to sleeping and dreaming at night, gazing at stars and solar systems to mixing ingredients for a homemade lemonade.. it’s all Science!
